Air Ionizers: What do they do?
An air ionizer purifies the air in a room by electrically charging air molecules. Many air purifiers use fans and filters to remove contaminants from the air. How do they work?

The positively charged particles and negative ions bond together to create dense dirt particles. This results in the particles becoming too heavy to stay suspended in the air, and causes them to fall to the ground, or onto surfaces that are swept up or cleaned during regular home or office cleaning.
